Unilever is collaborating with Flytrex to pioneer ice cream via drone delivery

Unilever has teamed up with Flytrex, a drone firm, to deliver ice cream via drone delivery. This news came shortly after Unilever partnered with Robomart. Flytrex covers various areas, including Holly Springs, Fayetteville and Raeford, North Carolina, and Granbury, Texas. Shoppers can order brands of frozen desserts such as Ben & Jerry’s and Breyers through Flytrex’s app for delivery in under three minutes via drones. The partner firms will also provide bundles and deals on various ice cream brands. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) operation waiver allows approximately a one-mile delivery radius of the ice cream delivery service via drones. Flytrex is working with Causey Aviation Unmanned, which specializes in drone delivery service technology, in collaboration with the CPG brand. After placing an order, shoppers would receive real-time notifications about their scheduled delivery.
