Too Good To Go rolls out its services in Los Angeles

Too Good To Go, a digital firm limiting food waste, has rolled out its online services in the dense area of Los Angeles. The platform already operates in 12 major U.S. cities and is expanding its offerings nationally. The platform connects consumers with grocers, restaurants, bakeries, cafes and similar food businesses, to get food that is one-third of the retail price for groceries. Shoppers order their “Surprise Bag” online and receive it through a pickup point at grocery stores. The bag contains a mix of fresh produce, bakery items and other food that is in excess or is nearing its expiry date. Chris MacAulay, managing director, shared that this initiative reduces food waste and slows global warming in return.
