Target has appointed its latest chief digital and product officer. Prat Vemana, as per the company announcement, will lead the digital team to augment its digital campaigns. Prat Vemana will be reporting to Chief Guest Experience Officer Cara Sylvester. He will take charge of various responsibilities, including site merchandising, user experience, digital operations and product. Vemana will also handle Target+, the retailer’s online third-party marketplace. Vemana is coming from Kaiser Permanente as senior vice president and chief digital officer and led its enterprise product management and experience teams.
