During the first quarter meeting, Kroger CEO Rodney McMullen revealed that Kroger would be expanding the Kroger Boost membership programme nationwide. Boost membership plan provides unlimited no-fee deliveries to customers on orders above $35, and they can also receive double fuel points. Moreover, the membership plan helps the retailer enjoy higher delivery sales and customer retention. Rodney McMullen further added that the membership program would boost digital sales in the future after witnessing a 6% year-over-year online sales decline in the first quarter of this year. This programme will automatically augment Kroger Delivery.
