Xook, a robotic resto startup offering prepared meals, has raised $1.3 Million to roll out its tech in the US

Xook, a Singapore-based robotic startup that offers a food court in a box, is expanding its kiosks to the US. The automated systems would offer delicious meals to corporate employees. CEO Raja Natarajan revealed that Xook raised $1.3 million in pre-seed funding from a group including deep tech fund SRI Capital, India-based micro-VC Pitchright Ventures, Letsventure, and WeFounderCircle. Its first autonomous kiosk, called the Xook Primus, would be capable of assembling salads and meal bowls across various cuisines from around the globe. Xook will install these kiosks for free in corporate buildings and won’t charge a single penny. The business aims to generate revenue from selling prepared meals.
