The China Chain Store and Franchise Association announced the list of top 100 grocers in China. The total number of grocery stores in the 100 supermarkets were 31,000, an increase of 7.4 % over the previous year. The top ten grocery stores with their respective sales volume in 2020 are: 1, RT-Mart and Auchan (105.99 billion yuan) 2, Yonghui (104.54 billion yuan) 3, CR Mart and CR Suguo (87.83 billion yuan) 4, Walmart (87.40 billion yuan) 5, Wumart and Metro (58.79 billion yuan) 6, Century Mart and Hualian ( 56.82 billion yuan) 7, Jiajiayue ( 27.92 billion yuan) 8, Carrefour (27.33 billion yuan) 9, Hyper-mart ( 24.45 billion yuan) 10, Zhongbai (23.72 billion yuan)
