Top ten grocers in China with highest sales volume in 2020

The China Chain Store and Franchise Association announced the list of top 100 grocers in China. The total number of grocery stores in the 100 supermarkets were 31,000, an increase of 7.4 % over the previous year. Mckinsey’s latest survey reveals the U.S. consumer shopping trends for the 2021 holiday season

Mckinsey and Company surveyed about 2,095 U.S. respondents and revealed the three trending shopping themes this holiday season. Consumers want everything off the shelf, and the demand seems to be ever-growing. The research firm’s analysis shows that fourth-quarter consumer spending in 2021 is likely to rise 7% over 2020. Shoppers keep switching between apps, websites, and stores for inspiration and purchasing. The report also exhibits that shoppers are feeling a strong urge to shop early and become social this year.
