Ten emerging brands have been chosen to participate in Target’s Takeoff Food and Beverage Accelerator Programme for 2023. The programme, in its third year, spans six weeks and offers entrepreneurs one-on-one meetings and sessions covering various topics like brand strategy, marketing, supply chain, and funding. The programme concludes with a pitch event where participants present their ideas to Target Corp. team members and external partners. Each participant receives a $5,000 stipend to cover expenses. Brands were selected based on their existing market traction and success at a small retail scale. The brands participating in the latest cohort include Better Chew, Brooklyn Tea, Bumpin Blends, glonuts, Homiah, Honeycut Kitchen, Immorel Beverages, Mocktail Club, Resist Nutrition, and Soldadera. These brands represent a range of products, from plant-based meat alternatives to low-sugar snack cakes and Mexican-style cold-brew coffee beverages.
