Slipop, a new format of a convenience store, disrupts shopping in Italy

Slipop, a chain of convenience stores in Italy, is transforming and upping the game of round-the-clock shopping service for consumers.

Slipop launched its first store on 30 September in Monterotondo, near Rome, and offers retail service seven days a week. The smart retailer offers high-quality products, including food, ready meals, and fresh and zero-kilometre food items, by matching prices with conventional retailers. Slipop follows a cashier-less modern pantry style of its outlets and will be located in strategic metropolitan spots, like large apartment buildings, gyms, and small squares.
