GrubHub taps Starship Technologies to pilot autonomous delivery to US campuses

Grubhub and Starship Technologies have teamed up to provide autonomous food delivery service to five US college campuses. Additional universities will deploy bots later in 2022. Grubhub offers food delivery to over 170,000 students across the University of Kentucky; the University of Nevada, Wayne State University; Southern Methodist University and Fairfield University. Grubhub also teamed up with robot delivery provider Cartken, The Ohio State University, after dissolving its partnership with Russia-based delivery bot firm Yandex. Starship Technologies has tested and deployed a fleet of 2,000 to offer delivery to more than two dozen American college campuses.
