Gorillas plans to launch its own private label brand to expand profit margins

After laying off around 300 employees, Gorillas is now keen to launch its four private labels to expand its profit margins. The German delivery platform will offer around fifty products in eleven popular categories on its app. Gorillas will only offer these private label products to four markets. The brands, called Gorillas Daily, Gorillas Premium, Hot Damn Coffee, and Start-up Beer, will be available to British, Dutch, French, and German customers. The delivery platform will further expand the number of products in the future. Founder Kağan Sümer detailed that he wanted to come up with private labels from day one. He further added that they would continue developing their own products with unique flavours and creative packaging to meet the needs of today’s consumers.
