Coles unfurls its own grocery labelled products in the Singaporean grocery outlets

Coles, the Australian grocer, has teamed up with Singapore’s largest grocery supermarket chain, NTUC FairPrice, to roll out its private and third-party labelled products in Singapore. By next month, the Australian grocer will offer 40 Coles products at FairPrice, with more than 60 products already on shelves across various FairPrice outlets. Tng Ah Yiam, chief procurement officer at FairPrice Group, said that Singaporean consumers love products from Coles as they have showed interest in them while staying in Australia for holidays and studies. The grocery giant has exported grocery staples to over 30 countries and primarily focuses on the Asian countries. As per Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Singapore is Australia’s seventh-largest export market. Australia exported goods and services worth $16 billion to Singapore between 2018 and 2019.
