Central Retail Corp. injects US $3M to roll out Tops Market outlets with an updated retail model

With changing consumer demands in Thailand, Central Retail Corporation is planning to inject US $3 million to construct the model of Tops Market with an updated retail blueprint. The retailer would build the supermarket covering 3400sqm, having more than 17,000 items across seven categories, including Asian cuisine, healthy snacks, pet essentials, grocery staples and pharmaceutical supplies. Tops Market would serve the inhabitants of areas in Eastern Bangkok as shoppers don’t want to drive to the distantly located retail outlets. The retail outlets would be equipped with the latest tech, and the retailers would keep sustainability efforts intact. Shoppers would collect their waste and earn points from the retailer. Tops Market would donate one baht to Empty Bottles, a Full Value project by Wat Chak Daeng to make PPE uniforms for the janitor team members.
