Chicory and Food52 partner to transform recipe shopping with contextual commerce

Chicory, a contextual commerce advertising platform, has teamed up with Food52, a leader in the food, cooking, and home spaces, to enhance the shopping experience for Food52’s recipe enthusiasts. This partnership aims to advance the grocery e-commerce industry by providing a seamless and personalised shopping journey for home cooks while offering enhanced visibility and engagement opportunities for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands. Over 50,000 Food52 recipes now feature Chicory’s shoppable ingredients button, enabling visitors to easily purchase ingredients for their chosen recipes with a few clicks. This integration with more than 60 prominent retailers allows users to complete their purchases through their preferred local retailers. Additionally, Food52 will monetize its recipe cards through Chicory Premium, utilising contextual in-recipe advertisements that offer relevant ads aligned with the recipe content, enhancing the user experience and driving sales for brands and retailers. Chicory’s solutions are present on various websites and food blogs, streamlining the transition from inspiration to checkout for grocery shoppers.
