Atome, a firm offering BNPL services, plans to enter South Korea by the end of 2022

Atome, a Singapore-based fintech firm, is planning to enter South Korea by the end of this year. After entering the South Korean market, Atome will become the brand that covers most of the Asian countries, as Vili Poulain, regional vice president of Strategic Partnership at Atome, revealed in a press conference. The Fintech firm already operates in Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, and Japan. The tech firm has 10,000 merchant partners, with 20 million registered customers in Asia, and disbursed $1b over 15 million transactions. Atome partner firms witness around 12% to 17% increase in order conversion and welcome in new customers. Atome directs almost 25% or more of sales to them.
