Ahold Delhaize USA to expand and triple its retail media in-house team

Ahold Delhaize US, one of the largest food retailers, announced plans to augment its retail media in-house to turn it into a core business. Peapod Digital Labs will grow its in-house media operations. Bobby Watts, vice president and head of AD Retail Media, shared that the retailer’s Retail Media intends to triple its current in-house media team. Peapod Digital labs will onboard 70 team members to grow its media wing. As a part of the media strategy, Ahold Delhaize will roll out on-site and offsite advertising outlets. This platform will have a single dashboard for estimating campaign performance and will later launch a new data collaboration tool for brands.
