Woolworths Scan&GO technology in Western Australia will let customers scan the grocery items on their smartphones and payment will be made through the Woolies app. The supermarket also offers Direct to Boot service to deliver online grocery orders directly to shoppers’ vehicle boots and they won’t have to leave their car. Woolies invested $25.5 million to implement the latest checkout technology to limit human contact.
