Walmart has teamed up with Sifter to roll out its “Shop-by-Diet” feature in-stores and online. This tool will help consumers achieve their health and wellness goals during their grocery run. Customers allergic to specific ingredients can search for products without the allergens by navigating the app. More than 200 million consumers follow a special diet to achieve health and fitness objectives, and 85 million consumers have food allergies. Shoppers can also find products that go well with health conditions, such as diabetes, blood pressure and heart-related diseases.
