Walmart Canada to pilot digital kitchen to fulfil online orders

Walmart Canada teams up with third-party retailers to set up a Ghost Kitchen, a term used for kitchens fulfilling digital meal orders only and does not offer dine-in services. Keeping the social distancing norms in mind, retailers are coming up with novel ideas to fulfil customers’ meal and grocery orders. The Ghost Kitchens offer contactless self-pickup and delivery options using a third-party app such as Uber Eats.
