Walmart Canada introduces subscription-based delivery pass, starting in Ottawa

Walmart Canada is introducing its subscription-based Delivery Pass to Ottawa shoppers, providing them with free delivery on over 65,000 items for a monthly or annual fee. The service will be accessible for $8.97 per month or $89 per year. Following the launch in Ottawa, Walmart will extend the Delivery Pass offering to residents of Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, with plans for a nationwide rollout by the end of summer. To avail of the Delivery Pass, customers can make a purchase through the Walmart app and select a delivery time slot, adding items to their cart with a minimum order of $35 before fees and taxes. Passholders will have their delivery fees automatically waived for next-day deliveries and can upgrade to same-day or express delivery for a discounted fee.
