Unilever partners with Robomart to let the Ice Cream Shop hit the LA roads

This summer, LA-based consumers would beat the heat by getting a mobile ice cream shop to deliver cold treats to their doorsteps. Unilever has teamed up with Robomart, a US-based store-hailing platform, to deliver sweet treats to customers through The Ice Cream Shop. Customers would use the store-hailing mobile app of Robomart and can swipe across the app to open the vehicle’s door after it arrives at their location. Robomart offers a checkout-free billing system, and customers can select their ice cream and leave. Ali Ahmed, Robomart’s founder, told The Spoon that the Ice Cream Shop would operate throughout the weekdays for at least 12 hours a day.
