Insights for the Food and Grocery Industry

Barclays Corporate Banking, a research firm, reported that 40% of the shoppers are now interested in making more in-store spendings. This trend is the new normal after the UK government relaxed the Covid-19 restrictions. The local high streets could have about 17,000 new stores launched as the hybrid working model would likely prevail in the future. The same research also reported that 16% of the workers might entirely work from home. On the contrary, 28% of the workers will be following the part-home, part-office model.
