Glovo, A Spanish delivery firm, has launched a social program named The Courier’s Pledge. This program offers a fairer business environment to its gig workers and protects their rights. The standards of this program encircle concerns regarding safety, earning, communication, support and development opportunities for workers. Glovo stated that this program will cover all of its workers, regardless of their employment status. The delivery firm has 74,000 couriers across its market footprint, mostly in Europe and Africa. The firm plans to expand 240,000 couriers active by 2023.
