Simbe Robotics raises $28 Million in series B funding to expand autonomous inventory robot solutions

AI robotics company Simbe Robotics has secured $28 million in a Series B equity financing round, led by venture capital firm Eclipse. The funding will enable Simbe to meet growing global customer demand, expand its team, enter new product areas, and optimise both in-store and e-commerce operations. Simbe’s flagship robot, Tally, utilises 3D computer vision technology to collect accurate shelf data, ensuring products are properly stocked, priced, and located. The company has partnered with major retailers such as BJ’s Wholesale, Schnuck Markets, and Carrefour. The funding round follows a successful Series A in 2019, bringing Simbe’s total funding to $54 million. Simbe aims to leverage AI and robotics to enhance the retail experience for customers, retailers, and associates.
