Revionics technology delivers tech-powered pricing strategies to independent grocers

Alex Lee, the firm that owns Lowes Foods and Merchants Distributors (MDI), has recently renewed the usage of Revionics technology for digitised pricing solutions for its independent grocers. MDI backs indie grocers with expertise and infrastructure and supplies more than 600 grocery stores in 12 states in the US. The company also ships a number of products to retailers and distributors in 36 countries. Revionics revolutionises grocers’ pricing strategy practices and offers the Base Price Optimisation solution. Nick Carlino, EVP of sales and merchandising at MDI, stated that the tech-enabled solution boosts a grocer’s profits by implementing progressive pricing strategies.
