Refresco Group, a Dutch firm manufacturing beverages, has acquired Australian firm Tru Blu Beverages, which produces non-alcoholic drinks. Refresco is looking to grow its market reach in the APAC region and the acquisition is a part of its ‘Buy & Build’ strategy. The beverage firm is expected to partner with more such companies in the future. Refresco’s headquarter is in Rotterdam, Holland. The drinks manufacturer runs over 70 sites across North America and throughout Europe. On the other hand, Tru Blu operates warehouses in major cities of Australia, including Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. Resfresco will aid Tru Blue in the ESG agenda to expedite Tru Blu Beverages’ efforts to limit its environmental impact, as shared by Hans Roelofs, Refresco’s chief executive.
