As per a report of Hero Digital shared by Winsight Grocery Business, Grocery sales and online grocery orders are likely to grow by 21% in 2022. The report also details that online grocery shopping is becoming shoppers’ “second nature,” and they love it. The comfort of online grocery shopping, home delivery and click-and-collect services is attracting their attention, said 2300 respondents to the report. The baby boomers, Gen Z and millennials chose e-grocery shopping due to superior customer service, easy online shopping process and personalisation. Companies need to develop and enhance these features to attract shoppers to their online stores.
