Lowes Foods is the latest grocer to make grocery visits more fun by offering amazing food service, shopping and all-day entertainment. The new test store will be located at 14021 Boren St., Huntersville, and will be 25,000 square feet. The store will have conveniences, including a second-floor mezzanine, which is available for booking events like birthday parties, book clubs, team celebrations, group meetings, or simply as a place to eat or enjoy a drink with family. The store will have a frictionless shopping app called Scan Pay-Go., where shoppers will be able to scan items as they shop and then checkout at specially marked kiosks before leaving.
