Kroger has signed a partnership deal with Kitchen United, a chain of ghost kitchens, to offer freshly-prepared food at its locations. Shoppers can enjoy having meals from six different local and international restaurants. The dark kitchen will let shoppers place orders through its app, website or kiosk. Kitchen United has partnered with many retailers to grow its business and has opened its dark kitchens in various malls this year. Kroger will debut its first ghost kitchen at a Ralphs store in Los Angeles later this year.
