Getir, a Turkey-based 10-minutes delivery firm, continues expansion in the EMEA region and plans to create about 6,000 jobs in the UK by the end of 2022. As of now, the Turkish firm has around 4,000 employees in permanent roles in London along with gig workers. The new vacant positions would be for riders, dark store managers, pickers and operators. Getir, now valued at $7.7B, intends to inject $100M into the UK expansion project. The ultra-fast delivery startup has its dark stores in 81 cities of Turkey and grew into London this year.
