Getir, the ultrafast Turkish delivery startup, has made its U.S. debut in the vibrant city of Chicago. The delivery platform will soon expand its services to Boston and New York by the end of this year. Initially, Getir will start its operations in the Chicago areas, including Rogers Park, Bowmanville, Lake View, Logan Square, Ranch Triangle, East Village and River North, The U.S. instant-needs space is currently dominated by GoPuff’s delivery services. Getir raised more than $1 billion in funding this year and is valued at $7.7 billion. The firm already operates in the UK, Portugal, Spain, The Netherlands and Italy.
