Galp, a multinational energy corporation, is headquartered in Lisbon, Portugal. Recently, Galp has teamed up with Sensei, an autonomous store provider, to roll out an automated convenience store. The latest automated store is located near its service area on Avenida Almirante Gago Coutinho, close to Lisbon Airport. The newly launched automated store covers 20 square metres of space and provides a portfolio of convenience products for grab-and-go consumption, including healthy snacks, energy bars, and drinks. This store is equipped with a cashier-less checkout system and cameras to tally the products. This store will be open round the clock and serve customers in the area. Vasco Portugal, Sensei’s chief executive, detailed that the firm will roll out many such stores in the future.
