Edeka partners with Naturland to add more organic products to its shelves

German retailer Edeka has teamed up with Naturland, a German organic farming platform, to add more organic and ethically grown products to its grocery shelves. Naturland operates fields of agriculture, aquaculture and fisheries, beekeeping, along with forestry, and offers organic products. Under the partnership, the organic farm will add 40 new national and international Naturland-certified products to the Edeka’s Naturkind and Edeka Bio range. The organic firm has 140,000 farmers in 60 countries internationally and is one of the largest international associations for organic farming in Germany. Markus Mosa, CEO of the Edeka headquarters, revealed that this is a strategic, long-term partnership. Michael Stienen, managing director of Naturland, added that this collaboration would help the organic farm to reach more consumers and make its products widely available.
