When it comes to launching ultrafast delivery services, DoorDash never fails to amaze its customers. Recently, the delivery firm has partnered with Albertsons to launch an ultrafast delivery service. The express delivery service will deliver from about 300 Albertsons outlets and approximately 6,000 grocery products in 30 minutes or less. Fuad Hannon, DoorDash’s VP, revealed that during its pilot program, DoorDash received more orders on Wednesdays, and shoppers placed 44% of orders between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. instead of early morning or evening. He also added that shopping patterns have changed. It more resembled restaurant orders than conventional e-grocery delivery orders.
