Dollar General, the prominent discounter chain, has established a healthcare advisory panel to provide transformed health and wellness offerings. The discount chain is taking expert opinions from strategists to effectively allocate resources and strategies to offer augmented healthcare services to consumers. As per the findings of The Washington Post, nearly 80% of rural America is labelled as medically underserved by the federal government. Dollar General is the well-suited retailer to offer healthcare services as about 75% of its 18,000 stores serve markets of 20,000 or fewer people.
