Insights for the Food and Grocery Industry

Colruyt, a Belgium-based supermarket owned by Colruyt Group, has been ranked as the most affordable grocer in Belgium. Albert Heijn has been ranked as the second most economical grocer after Colruyt. These two supermarkets are 10 percent cheaper than Carrefour, which is the third-most cheapest grocer. Many other grocers opted for price hike after the pandemic outbreak while these chains didn’t revise their prices. Carrefour’s muti-track price strategy is tailored to keep its image intact.
