Boxed Inc, now public, is ready to drive e-commerce and tech growth

Chieh Huang, the CEO of Boxed, an e-tailer offering bulk products, is ready to charge and drive growth for his tech and e-commerce business. Consumers and businesses can buy club-sized packages with free two-day delivery in the U.S. After going public, Boxed is licensing its end-to-end e-commerce platform as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering. This opportunity will be a new income stream for the online brand. Boxed has tallied $20.3 million in software and services revenue and will automate its fulfilment centres with robots. The platform has two income revenue streams: an e-commerce business and a software business.
