Bentobox, a research firm, proposes five key trends about restaurant takeout and delivery consumer behaviour. As restaurants reopen, 85% of diners order delivery or takeout once a week. 44% of the customers want to order from the restaurants directly if it offers discounts. 88% of shoppers wish to continue ordering 4x times a week. Consumers aged between 19-49 are labelled as Super Users due to frequent orders received from them. 23% of consumers think the ease of third-party delivery firms is over-valued.
