Giant grocers like Kroger and Lowes Foods are currently experimenting with the remote pickup option. Lowes Food has placed grocery kiosks inside the office of an automation firm. Delipop, a new concept in Europe, will allow each store to pick up orders from various retailers inside automated vending machines. Ramsey’s Market is another grocer that has already ordered fifteen storage units and will place them in Iowa, U.S.
