Amazon launches Amazon One, a unique palm-based device, as a payment method at Seattle-area outlets. Amazon One technology lets customers pay by using their palm signature or by showing a loyalty card. Customers insert their credit cards in the device in-store and register mobile number. The computer vision algorithm captures the unique print when the shopper hovers their palms over the device. A link sent via SMS will let customers view previous purchase history and secure personal information.
