Aldi UK is planning to expand its business over the next two years. The Germany-based discount grocer is initiating a £1.3B investment drive over the next two years as it observed a 10% sales boosts in the last year. Aldi will have about 2,000 vacant job positions as it will launch 100 new grocery stores in the UK in 2022. Despite the inflating sales, Aldi’s annual profit fell by 2.5% due to the pandemic-led inflation.
