Albertsons launches “Flash” service for speedy online grocery fulfilment

Albertsons has introduced “Flash,” a rapid online grocery service allowing customers to receive delivery or Drive Up & Go curbside pickup orders within as little as 30 minutes. Available at over 2,000 stores, including Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, and more, customers can access Flash pickup and delivery via store websites or mobile apps. Flash orders can consist of up to 35 items but may vary by location, and some items are not eligible for Flash delivery. Flash pickup carries a fee of $3.95 per order, while Flash delivery is priced at $11.95 per order. Albertsons’ FreshPass subscribers enjoy free Flash pickup and discounted Flash delivery at $2 per order.
