Eligible customers can opt for this service during their online orders, receiving medications for conditions like asthma and flu promptly. Dr. Vin Gupta, Amazon Pharmacy’s Chief Medical Officer, emphasised the significance of reducing the time from illness onset to treatment. Drones fly at altitudes of 40 to 120 metres, equipped with sensors and cameras to avoid obstacles during delivery. Amazon’s Prime Air ensures swift deliveries by bypassing road traffic.
