Cheddar, a new shopping app that streams shopping events and has Live shopping, has been rolled out in Australia for younger consumers. The app promises a customized shopping experience tailored to shoppers’ tastes ahead of the shopping season. Like TikTok and Instagram, the app uses AI to anticipate customers’ needs and shows relevant products. Cheddar’s managing director Helen proclaimed that around 600 merchants had already registered for the platform ahead of its Apple Store launch on Tuesday. The businesses include Sephora, Culture King, Agoda and Pizza Hut.
