Insights for the Food and Grocery Industry

The German retailer Aldi has an early gift for holiday shoppers as it cuts down the prices of some Thanksgiving essentials in the U.S. This move came as a relief for consumers as inflation is soaring directly, affecting food prices the most. The discounted food prices would be enough to buy a holiday meal for up to 10 people for under $30. The discounts and deals are on marinated Turkey, pumpkin pie, sweet potatoes and sides, available in stores and online. The BLS’ index for meats, poultry, fish and eggs rose 2.2% last month, while beef prices grew 4.8% in November.
