Insights for the Food and Grocery Industry

Whole Foods Market has announced that it will be adding Amazon’s cashierless technology in two of its stores in 2022. The organic supermarket chain will implement cashierless technology in their Washington, D.C.’s Glover Park and Sherman Oaks, California locations. Amazon rolled out its technology at the first Amazon Go in downtown Seattle in January of 2018. Due to fundings in the market, a lot of other self-checkout technology startups have entered the space.
