Better Eggs, a poultry family business in New Zealand, has launched a forest free-range farm. The hens will be roaming around to enjoy the exotic trees in the forest and lay eggs under eight sheds provided by the tall trees. The firm wishes to work for animal welfare and enhance the quality of its eggs. Eggs nesting boxes are transferred via conveyor belts to robots for packing and labelling. Trucks supply these egg packs to distribution facilities in the vicinity.
