Coles has signed a landmark partnership deal with the government of Tasmania to promote Tasmanian products at its outlet, country-wide. This partnership is the first one that involves a big supermarket chain signing a deal with Tasmania to promote locally-produced products. Coles works with almost 60 Tasmanian farms to source GRAZE lamb raised ethically without any antibiotics. Australian social commerce platform AuMake raises $1.6M to empower its post-covid transformation strategy

Australian daigou social commerce platform AuMake has raised $1.6M to bounce back post-covid. The platform links Australian and New Zealand sellers digitally with Chinese and other Asian consumers. The investment round was led by existing shareholder Novus Capital, and the placement will see 131,000,000 new shares issued at a value of $0.017 per share. The funds raised will expand ANZ tourism markets by giving birth to new domestic and international partnership opportunities. Google-backed Open, a digital bank, has acquired Finin for $10 million

Google-backed Open, Asia’s first neobank that operates an SME banking platform, has acquired another online banking startup Finin for $10 million. The deal between the two banks involved cash and stocks. The Bangalore-based, business-focused consumer bank has made this acquisition to expand its banking services and deepen relationships with other neobanks. Many grocers have relied on Shipt delivery service to offer prompt delivery to their dedicated customers. Wynshop, formerly known as ThriyveAI, a tech firm empowering grocers, has signed a deal with Shipt to access its workforce. The partners will begin same-day delivery for Wynshop’s customers from next year onwards to online platforms it provides to clients, including United Supermarkets and Wakefern.
