SalesForce data shows the highest sales of $62B during the US 2021 Cyber Week sales
Every consumer shopped their heart out when the Cyber Week sales 2021 started and had a record-high $62B in the US. Even though inflation caused an 11% increase in prices of holiday goods, holiday inventory went down 6% due to high demand. Overall, 2021 global online sales struck an all-time high of $275 billion, up 2% compared to last year, as per the SalesForce report. The data also revealed that deals were harder to find as inflation went up and discounts went down. Shoppers had limited gift options as supply chain woes shrank the inventory. They also opted for BNPL service to deal with the inflating prices. Stores offering online shopping with curbside pickup options were preferred by consumers. To read more, visit SalesForce
