Albertsons Cos. rolls out Albertsons Media Collective, its retail media network

Supermarket giant Albertsons Cos. has launched its retail media network platform called Albertsons Media Collective. The grocer partnered with CitrusAd, a digital advertising firm, and Merkle, a customer experience management platform, to launch it. Albertsons will offer digital marketing and omnichannel solutions to its CPG partners. These solutions will help the brands connect with their most loyal customers. The grocer will provide shopper-centric and engaging content to customers across Albertsons’ digital properties.

Sleek, a French Tech startup, raises $14M in a Series A funding round, acquires Ltd Companies

Sleek, a firm that offers digital bookkeeping, payroll, insurance and tax services to SMEs, has secured $14M in a Series A funding round. Sleek has recently acquired Ltd Companies to enter the UK market. In 2017, French entrepreneurs Julien Labruyere and Adrien Barthel established Sleek to help entrepreneurs incorporate and manage business processes in Singapore and Hong Kong. The firm plans to enter Australia, the U.K. and the Philippines with the funds raised.  White Star Capital and Jungle Ventures led the Series A round led. The latest funds bring the company at a valuation of $24M.

Clutch, a Canadian digital car-buying platform, bags funds worth $80 million in a funding round

Clutch is a Canadian used car digital platform and Dan Park, CEO of Clutch, founded the firm in 2016. The digital car dealing firm has secured $80 million as funds in the Series B funding round. It now aims to become the largest online used car selling platform by 2030. The digital platform will invest money to expand its team members, logistic capacities and its inventory. The funds will help the firm tap additional Canadian regions. Clutch has headquarters in Toronto and offers services in Alberta, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Ontario.

Facebook adds shopping features to its app, launches Shops in Groups

Facebook is diversifying its Livestream shopping experience. The app has added features like Shops in Group, product recommendations and Live Shopping test for Content Creators. With the Shops in Groups feature, group admins can turn their groups into a digital shop. The product recommending feature suggests customized products to Meta users. Meta, previously known as Facebook, will help users tag and insert an already listed product in the comment section. Additionally, Meta, which has had the Live Shopping option available for years, plans to make the function seamless for brands and creators after its growing popularity.
